Pet Valu & Paulmac’s Pets raise $120,000 for the Northumberland Humane Society
We are especially grateful to owners Dale & Joanne and their dedicated teams in Cobourg, Port Hope, and Campbellford. Their passion and commitment remind us how powerful it is when local businesses and the community come together for a cause.
Store owner, Joanne, and manager, Ashlie, are quick to recognize that while the staff put a lot of effort in these fundraisers, it really is the community that makes it all work!

The NHS extends heartfelt thanks to Dale, Joanne, their teams, and the community members whose donations make such an impact.
Together, we are truly changing lives — one paw at a time.
This year’s remarkable contribution of nearly $18,000, has provided food, medical care, and second chances for countless cats, dogs, and small animals in need.
In 2021, Pet Valu in Port Hope raised $26,000! Out of 500 locations, this accomplishment made them the #1 store in Ontario - and 3rd in all of Canada! We are grateful to Ashlie, her team, for their hard work and tremendous support and so proud to recognize the outstanding generosity of the communities across Northumberland County!

For the past 5 years, our incredible community partners have stood beside us, organizing events, engaging the community, and raising over $120,000 to support the animals of Northumberland Humane Society.
From Collie Cuddles, Family Fun Days, Royal Tea Parties, to book sales and dog washes - this team has used fun, creative ways to bring the community together. These fundraising events take place throughout the month of June, which is Pet Appreciation Month! Pet Valu & Paulmac’s Pets all across the country take part in supporting their local organizations.
