Located in downtown Cobourg, the NHS Thrift Store is the perfect solution when you are moving, spring cleaning or downsizing as we welcome new or gently used items in good condition. Please visit the store to check out our wide range of items for practical use or discover a hidden treasure! Visit us often as our inventory is constantly changing and you never know what you will find!
Donations
Donations are gratefully accepted at the rear of our building between 10am and 3pm. We are unable to accept large pieces of furniture, electronics, toys, children’s clothes, computers, baby furniture or large appliances.
Check with us ahead of time if you are unsure about the suitability of any items you wish to donate.
Volunteers
The Thrift Store is staffed by volunteers, and we would welcome your support as a member of our volunteer team. Complete a Volunteer Application online or download the form and then drop off at NHS Thrift Store.
All applicants must undergo a Police Check. Cobourg and Port Hope residents should contact their local police service for more information. Residents living outside of Cobourg or Port Hope should contact their local OPP detachment.
